Liked the analogy of truth and the lump. A lump of sugar is sweet, but when one wants something more, and the other does not, it is bitter.
I have always loved haikus. Its beguiling simplicity draws me. Same way it did now.
I loved the way you havd written ,"the truth often is a lump in your throat when you lie.."simple words yet so striking!
I adored the vaguely accusing (but even accusing may be too strong a word) tone to the first haiku.There always is so much going on in haiku and tanka because you fill in your own words and meaning.I love love love them. Glad I found yours.
